Vimeo and a new (old) cooking video
Strawberries are making their return appearance at farmers market across the country. Here's a fabulous--and fabulously easy--recipe to turn them into a three-star dessert.
I posted this homemade video nearly a year ago here on Chez Pim, but the quality of that original video was quite appalling I'm surprised it got any viewing at all. I'm reposting it again on a spiffy new video hosting service Vimeo. I discovered them very recently thanks to a bunch of hilarious short videos on Boing Boing. Vimeo streams far better quality videos than other services I've tried.
So, here's a new (old) recipe to greet new berries and the new season. Have fun watching!

The video was fun to watch and the video quality was great. I love this recipe - I can almost smell the jamaica. I think I'll try it soon and maybe add a dollop of creme fraiche to each serving.

I love hibiscus! My neighbor used to sneak it in her lemonade and we would bug her to know what the secret ingredient was, her lemonade was the best. Finally, I found out.
I was wondering what your kitchen countertops are made of. I'm building a kitchen this year and I love the look of your counters.
BTW, if you don't have a Caribbean or Latino market you can often find plain hibscus tea in the herbal teas. Or even try Celestial Seasons Red Zinger (it just has other herbs in it too). I'm a hibiscus junky.

Hi Pim,
Had your strawberries with hibicus yesterday as a special desert - our local wholefood shop stocks them - a sensational flavour! also had separately on the desert plate with them a few raw blueberries with slivers of orange and lime Belgian chocolate - a simple fabulous combination!!!
