Pebble Beach Food & Wine, see you later this week?

Pebblebeach

Thanks everybody for your comments and emails about the Iron Chef episode last night. It really was a lot of fun, and the food was really, really good (on both sides, they put up a great fight)--and my goodness did I really have that much makeup on? (And I've just realized that I say really quite a lot!) I'll have to tell you more about it later, and there will be another one you can watch later on this season too. I'm under a pretty serious deadline this week so I won't have time to go into much details, but I will soon.

Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you about my fun plan later this week at the fabulous Pebble Beach Food & Wine festival. This is the first year of this premier event, but we should expect no less than great things from the folks who ran the famous (and dearly departed) Masters of Food and Wine in Carmel for years and years.

David will be cooking at a couple events, while I'll be playing down there with the folks from Foodbuzz and my friend Joey Altman. We'll show you all the fun stuff and will even be taking you guys behind the scenes at a soooper exclusive event. Stay tuned right here chez moi!

P.S. If you're down there and see me, do come and say hi. What, you haven't got your tickets yet? Well, what are you waiting for??

After trying to remember all weekend to tape Iron Chef last night, I completely forgot and just remembered this mornng. Will they be replaying it anytime soon. I shall set my dvr immediately.

Darn-I missed it, too! Re-runs? And I am so envious you'll be at Pebble Beach-sounds wonderful and I look forward to hearing all about it! Have fun!

It's the food network, of course there are reruns. Expect to see the same episode a few times a day for the next week or two.

Like dave said, of course there will be rerun. :-) Here's the schedule for this episode.

Pebble Beach is going to be a lot of fun. Alain is coming from Paris, Thomas will be there, and also tons of other chefs. It's going to be great! And we're going to get it all (well, almost all) on video for Chez Pim!

Too much makeup? I don't think so, I was thinking to myself "wow, Pim's has really nice complexion, so smooth and so glowing...I need to find out what she uses..." Was that makeup? If so, tell me the line they are using or you are using? I am soooo buying. I need to cover up my frown lines, they make me look furious all the time...sigh. ;)

And there is another one?

Anyway, I think I am able to attend the TOA thingy in SF Asian Museum, can't want to meet you in person and all the celeb chefs who will be attending. W00t. :)
