My first by-line in the New York Times

Mirazurnyt

I have a small piece in the New York Time's T:Travel magazine this weekend! I've had recipes published in the Times before, but this is the first time I have a by-line. Yay! I did both the story and the photos accompanying it, though strangely enough I didn't get credit for the photos. But I'm not letting that minute detail bother me right now. I have a by-line in the NY Times!!

Very awesome! I've been reading your blog for quite sometime now and must say that I enjoy reading all that you write about.

Looking forward to future entries!

Hi Pim,
Very cool! Congratulations!

Somebody rocks.
That would be you. :)

So cool, Pim. Congratulations!

That's mighty impressive. Congratulations.

contratulations, bravo!

Wow! How fabulous are you?

Congrats!

Congratulations!

Congrats Pim!

Congratulations! I'm impressed ... I agree, they were sloppy with your photo credits -- make sure that doesn't happen the next time. There are going to be another time, right? :-)

Cool. Did they ask you or did you pitch them?

congrats and a nice picture too.

doesnt mirazur have one star already?

That's wonderful, Pim. Congratulations! As much as I love the internet, there's something special about seeing your name in ink on paper--and the NYT no less! Here's to many more.

Congratulations! Now which is it, barbaguians, or barbagiuans? The photo caption says one and the body copy says the other...oh well, five minutes ago I had no idea what they are.

Now I can add you to the roster of people I know who have written for the NY Times.
1. Mother
2. Father
3. Pim

Don't they say that when you've touched a famous person you're famous by default.

Good job Ms. Pim! Congratulations indeed.

Congrats on your byline, Pim! I've enjoyed reading your blog for almost a year now, and your posts have guided my travels and eating. Thank you!

Just by coincidence, I was at Mirazur only two weeks ago, loved the experience, and just posted about it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your thoughts on the place, which I hope you'll do soon here.

Yay! Yippee! good on ya!
But to be honest, although the NYT is slightly better off now, Chez Pim will still remain my ultimate authority on life.

How exciting! Congratulations, and may they credit your amazing photos next time (they're a big part of what makes your work so enticing)

Impressive. Most impressive. Congratulations!

Congratulations!

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the encouragement.

cheers,
Pim

Great Blog. I really like it and will spread the word. Congrats on the NY Times by-line.

I also had lunch at Mirazur last week and was lucky enough to talk to Mauro Colagreco. A great experience. I've just posted the full story and pics on my blog by the way. Feel free to stop by and, why not, share some thoughts.

I haven't had a chance to say it in previous comments so I do it now: good luck for your journalistic and writing career. No doubt that, given your talent, you will be quite successful.
