Buona Pasqua

It's a little late to be wishing you happy easter, I know. But that's where I was, for the last -blissfully (if unintentionally) internet-free- ten days, spending Easter and the surrounding days in the wilds of Southern Italy. I was also in Nice and around the Cote d'Azur, and a mini detour up north to Padova for a lovely restaurant.
Lots of pictures and words to come. If you can wait a couple more days. :-)

Pim,
Thanks for the picture, Easter in Southern Italy sounds dreamy. Bon retour.

Where in southern Italy? I was just there last year for two months. I have family in Calabria but I was also traveling around Campania. I love that most of the world thinks all that Italy has to offer is located in the north. It enables the southern regions to remain, as you said, wonderfully "wild."

There's nothing that says 'Easter' more, for me, than a brightly-painted boiled egg lodged in the middle of fruit-studded bread. :)
Italy seems a good place to spend Easter. And....yes, it's nice to get away from WWW-land for a while....

Ohh, I truly can't wait, but I guess i have no choice! :) I loved my time there in Italy a few years ago, one of my best vacations ever. Now hurry and put up more pics, especially of the food! :)
