When pork is the perfect accessory

Can you see it now? A headline on Style.com, no? Well, never you mind, perhaps it's just me who thinks this guy perfectly accessorised. But then again my idea of a perfect Christmas present is three pounds of bacon from the Grateful Palate catalog.
I found him peddling little bags of deep fried pork crackling as I wandered the Ta Prachan market in Bangkok with Austin.

Ahhhh...pork. His getup reminds me of the bread ladies' at the Gaultier bread as fashion show from Paris. They wore these adorably sexy and appetizing bread basket costumes in the museum. The museum website has some photos but it's a pain to get to them since it's all Flash with a very unfriendly user menu. I think I saved some copies on my hard drive though.

The winter knit-cap is a good flourish, he looks ready for a hike in the alps.
Chicharron! Love the stuff. Wonder if they also sprinkle chili-infused palm vinegar over them as they do in Manila.

Hey Pim,
Always interesting, food and fashion or rather food AS fashion. I remember Peta had done a campaign in India accessorising hunk actor John Abraham with all kinds of vegetables.
