Alkimia
In a chemically induced insomnia tonight, poor little me. I decided to make a good use out of my half awaken state by uploading a bunch more food porn from my last trip to Barcelona on my Flickr. These photos are from a lovely little place called Alkimia -strangely fitting name for my state tonight. Also another set from Gaig.
Pim, the photos of your dinner at Alkimia make me regret not dining there last month when I was staying in Barcelona. I particularly liked the photo of the baby squid dish...how I wish we could get those here!

I know. You should have asked! It was a lovely little place. I didn't even see the menu, the chef just took over and cooked whatever he pleased. Fun.

Hi, Pim,
Just read Jay's piece in our Good Living weekly feature (Sydney Morning Herald) and enjoyed it immensely. An enviable life you lead but it seems Eurocentric. When are you going to come Down Under to discover the fabulous food and wines of Australia. I know life is short but Oz is up there with the best.
I'm now a dedicated fan of one day!
